I thought this would be appropriate for today's feast of the Transfiguration. Jesus took his best friends to witness this mystical transformation of His Person. We are also His best friends and He invites us to the Mountain to behold in awe His Love.

I love this mountain verse. The fact that it was paraphrased by Rogers and Hammerstein (Climb Every Mountain) says much for the power of that symbol of faith in God's Glory.
