Lumen Christi

In the Catholic Church on the evening of Saturday night we have the Easter vigil.  During the liturgy we have an large candle which is lit which is called Light of Christ and from this candle we light our own candles and process into the Church.  It is a beautiful way to welcome the Risen Lord.
